The College of Nursing at Al-Ameed University welcomed a delegation today, Saturday, November 9, 2024, from the Karbala Branch of the Nursing Syndicate and the Higher Health Institute in the province. The delegation was headed by Mr. Mohammed Jasim Tawfan, Head of the Nursing Syndicate in Karbala, and Dr. Hossam Abbas Dawood, Dean of the Higher Health Institute, along with several academic staff members from the institute. They were received by Prof. Dr. Dhia Karim Al-Bayati, Dean of the College of Nursing, his administrative assistant, Dr. Hussein Al-Ghanami, and other college faculty.
The delegation also met with Prof. Dr. Maytham Hamid Al-Qanbar, Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Karim Abdul Rahim, Vice President for Administrative and Legal Affairs. During the visit, the delegation took a field tour, exploring the academic environment on campus. The tour included visits to classrooms, practical and scientific laboratories at the College of Nursing, the Central Library, Al-Ameed University's Central Laboratory, and several medical laboratories.
The purpose of this visit was to explore and share experiences with other universities and to work on advancing the nursing profession and supporting the progress of health education to better serve the community.
